“I want you
to get out there and walk…. Better yet run! -- on the road God called
you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. ……
And mark that you do this with humility and discipline, not in fits and
starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in act of
love."
Ephesians 4:1-3 (The Message)
Grace is in ACTION throughout our community and the world.
The apostle Paul commanded us to pour out ourselves in acts of love.

Missions Outreach in the Appalachian Region
Appalachian Regional
Ministry is an intentional missions
response to the spiritual and physical needs of persons living in the
Appalachian region. Our church will partner with churches and
ministries in Virginia and Tennessee to provide supplies, to evangelize the lost, to
assist existing churches and to start new churches in the Appalachian
Region.
Grace
will work directly with churches in Wythville and Bossevain, VA and Washburn,
TN to share the Love of Christ. We’ll be supplying food, school supplies, dental
supplies and much more. In the future we
desire to send teams to work with local churches. Through these teams we hope
to do construction projects, teach bible studies, distribute food and clothing
or assist with the dental clinics. These would be great opportunities for
families, small groups or youth groups to go on a short-term missions trip. We
will be doing an Easter Offering to support this project. For information
contact missions@gracehome.org
Through langauge study we seek to provide practical
assistance to our international community while offering an opportunity
to share the Gospel message. Classes meet Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
Volunteers who would like to serve as conversation partners are always
needed.
Helping Hands of Grace
Grace provides for the physical and spiritual needs of the homeless population in our community in several ways:
On
Friday nights November through March we bring guests from the shelter
to our church and serve them a home-cooked meal, offer fellowship and a
short devotional, and give donated clothing and toiletry items. To
volunteer to join a team which will prepare a meal on a Friday night
contact helpinghandsgracebaptist@gmail.com
During
the months of April to October Grace provides home-cooked meals one
night a week to the Drop-in Shelter. To volunteer to join a team which
will prepare and deliver a meal contact helpinghandsgracebaptist@gmail.com
Also
during April to October Grace provides 3 meals a day for several days
in a row to the Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Center.Dinner
is served to Homeless families and singles housed at the Hilda Barg
Center and bagged lunches and breakfast foods are left for the next day.
Grace typically covers 3 days in a row during two of the months.
