“Welcoming…Uplifting…Comfortable…” Those are some of the words we hear used to describe Saturday Worship at Grace. This is Grace Baptist’s first service of the weekend - starting at 5:30, it’s a relaxed, joyful time to worship, praise, and learn how God’s Word applies to our lives. Each Saturday night Pastor Marc & the Praise Team lead everyone in contemporary music, and then Pastor Tim has an interactive time of teaching. The informal atmosphere is great for families attending with small children.
After the Saturday Service there are additional activities for all ages from 6:45 to 7:50 pm.
Kids age 3 through fifth grade can be part of “Living Inside Out” in the Fellowship Hall. This class combines jump-and-shout large group energy with no-barriers small group relationship-building that challenges kids to live out their faith everyday, everywhere…in front of everyone!
Students in middle and high school meet weekly in Building B to develop connections with other students and to dive into scripture to discover God. We hope that through mentoring relationships and friendships, students will grow as part of a faith community, as part of our church congregation, and in their faith and knowledge of God. As they grow, we know that God will send them out into their world to share the truth of Christ. Come and join us!
Adults have these great small groups to pick from:
- Button Small Group – coed group for all ages and stations in life led by Rick Button
- Kern Small Group – ladies group led by Melissa Kern
- McGuffey Small Group – coed group led by Bill & Joanna McGuffey
- Place Small Group - coed group led by Jamie Place
Adult small groups meet in Building C and you will usually find people gathering at the Coffee Corner for drinks & snacks before small group time!
Throughout the Saturday night events (worship service and small groups) child care is provided for ages birth through two years old.
Fellowship Dinner
On the third Saturday of each month, we have a Fellowship Dinner immediately after the service. For this, everyone brings a dish and dessert to share in the fellowship hall. The main dish, drinks, and paper products are provided. On Fellowship Dinner nights, the adult small groups, children’s class, and little ones in child care meet together for the dinner. Everyone is welcome and we have a great time getting to know each other better!
