The Personnel Committee establishes a consistent and professional method for interaction with staff of GBC. They work to assure employees are equipped to fully engage in their role, thus enabling them to minister to others. This year the Personnel Committee plans to:
- Create a permanent record of all committee work since November 2006 including establishing committee protocol for decision making
- Continue to develop job descriptions for each staff position at GBC
- Conduct salary survey of Northstar churches for Category I level positions
- Solicit reports from Church Administrator Database for comparable employee salaries
- Complete review and edit of Personnel Policy Manual to assure compliance with the By-Laws
- Establish employee advocates from the Personnel Committee
- Implement employee evaluations
