Baptism
Baptism classes are offered for children, youth, and adults. The classes serve to give age-appropriate information to individuals who want to learn more about baptism by immersion. Attendance carries no obligation.
Adult Baptism – If you are interested in making this public declaration of your faith in Christ, attend a one-time adult baptism class (approximately 45 minutes). There you will receive Biblical and practical information and you will have an opportunity to get all of your questions answered. Attendance carries no obligation. Student Baptism – Whether you are a new Christian or you became a believer years ago and you want to be baptized, now is the time! DSM’s two-part class is designed for believers to discover the biblical & historical roots of baptism and the symbolism of immersion baptism, to develop a personal faith story, and to grow in their faith. Child Baptism – The baptism class for children is for elementary aged children who are new Christians and ready to take the next step of faith (believer’s baptism). It is a 4-week consecutive class with supplemental assignments that are age appropriate and go along with the class discussions. The class series is usually held on Wednesday nights from 7-8 pm.
